We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at IHG. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for accurately balancing hotel income and expenses for a 24-hour operating period.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Operations: Balance and audit room revenue, food and beverage revenue, and telephone revenue for accuracy. Assist in preparing daily revenue reports.
- Accounting and Auditing: Balance and audit room and tax charges, cashier's reports, and guest and house accounts for accuracy.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate with other hotel departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and request or provide information.
- Guest Service: Perform Guest Service Representative functions as required, including booking room reservations and answering hotel phone calls.
- System Support: Act as hotel system liaison during night hours, calling in and opening tickets with Opera, Protobase, or System Support as needed.
- Reporting and Compliance: Complete and transmit daily management and accounting reports, and prepare customer tracking reports and other auditing reports.
- Additional Duties: May assist with other duties as assigned.
- Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, plus some customer service experience. Some college preferred.
- Language Skills: Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred.
- Competitive Compensation: The hourly pay rate for this role is $22.50 an hour.
