The Safety, Security and Treatment Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of residents within a behavioral rehabilitation environment. This position involves overseeing the treatment and security protocols for the resident population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and treatment of residents by maintaining a secure environment.
- Supervise and monitor resident activities within the facility to promote a safe atmosphere.
- Assist residents with daily living tasks and provide guidance during recreational activities.
- Observe resident behavior, address any issues professionally, and maintain accurate documentation of activities.
- Account for residents and facility equipment in accordance with established policies.
- Utilize surveillance systems to monitor activities and uphold safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field.
- Experience in forensic mental health settings or similar environments.
- Background in working with individuals classified as sex offenders.
