Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Planner operates under general supervision, primarily tasked with the accurate and timely interpretation of customer purchase orders in accordance with blueprints or other specifications. This role involves planning job ticket travelers for production efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The essential functions of this position include:

  1. Interpreting customer purchase orders and ensuring all information is accurate and complete.
  2. Planning basic and routine jobs based on purchase orders, blueprints, and engineering documentation.
  3. Processing production modifications to job ticket travelers.
  4. Applying customer notes, planning notes, pop-ups, and customer clauses within the planning software.
  5. Researching and comprehending engineering specifications, material compositions, and adhering to NDT process sequence requirements.
  6. Conducting Contract Reviews upon the completion of job ticket planning.
  7. Complying with safety regulations.
  8. Performing additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Candidates must possess the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Following precise instructions is essential. Good vision and attention to detail are required, along with a foundational understanding of analyzing and problem-solving related to purchase orders, blueprint notes, and specifications within established policies and procedures.

This position is subject to ITAR regulations, necessitating that the employee be classified as a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
