Job Description:

Speech Language Pathologist Role

This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.

  1. We conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
  2. Based on assessment findings, we develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with patient goals.
  3. In this role, you will provide direct therapy services using evidence-based practices and innovative techniques.
  4. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  5. We educate patients and their families on communication strategies and home programs to reinforce therapy goals.
  6. Maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes is essential in this role.
  7. Staying current with advancements in speech-language pathology and best practices is crucial.
Requirements and Qualifications
  1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  2. Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  3. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  4. Previous experience in a clinical setting or school environment is a plus.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment is vital.
