Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive skilled services as ordered by the attending physician, including patient education and safety monitoring.
  • Develop and implement plans of care to improve patient functional status and minimize risk.
  • Counsel patients and families on disease management and proper use of equipment.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a PTA in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
