Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team at United Stars Holdings, Inc. as a Maintenance Technician 2nd shift Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, including machines, tools, crane, truck, motor, machine control, generator, and power equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, computer, and control malfunctions.
  • Assemble and test electrical test and control equipment.
  • Manage and lead small projects, ensuring timely completion and quality results.
  • Perform general plant maintenance, including cleaning and organization of work areas.
  • Work with the Engineering group to optimize space utilization and improve process efficiency.
  • Follow safety policies and procedures, including attending safety meetings and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve ZERO accidents and maintain a positive work culture.
Requirements
  • 2-year associate degree or 5 years of related experience and training in Industrial Electronics.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 95, MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Understanding of the United Stars Lockout/Tagout Procedures.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of high voltage (480/240vac).
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints and systems.
  • Training and experience in troubleshooting A/B Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and associated programs.
  • Working knowledge and repair of ink printers.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code and NFPA 79.
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with plant air compressors.
  • Good written and communication skills.
  • Ability to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities.
