About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Natural Resources team at Colliers Engineering & Design. Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct the work effort of assigned staff, ensuring the successful execution of projects and programs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff, including performance evaluations, training, and development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Ecology, Botany, Biology, Zoology, Natural Resource Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in related field, with 7+ years of experience in project management, budgeting, and financial management.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal regulations and permitting processes, including Section 7 Review and Section 401 Clean Water Act.
  • Technical knowledge and experience in multiple states, including New York, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Maine.
  • Knowledge of wetland/stream mitigation design and monitoring, as well as NYS regulatory and permitting processes.
  • Strong working relationships with regulatory agencies and experience with the ORES permitting process.
  • Ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships, communicate effectively, and lead projects and programs to successful outcomes.
