Job Description

ProSidian Consulting, LLC seeks a highly skilled Energy Programs Director to support the development and implementation of energy sector programs that promote sustainable energy development in countries assisted by a US Federal Agency. This role will be based in the USA, but services will be provided internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of energy sector programs that address the global demand for modern energy services.
  • Collaborate with the Federal Agency to identify and prioritize energy sector needs and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and civil society organizations.
  • Provide technical assistance and capacity building to support the development of energy sector policies, regulations, and institutions.
  • Support the design and implementation of energy sector projects, including those related to clean energy, energy poverty, energy sector governance and reform, and energy security.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as energy policy, international development, or a related field.
  • At least 9 years of experience in energy sector development, policy, or management.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing energy sector programs and projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex energy sector issues and develop effective solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in the energy sector in developing countries.
  • Fluency in a second language, such as Spanish or French.
