Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (LDR RN) for a 13-week contract in a reputable healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN and possess excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery setting, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize medical equipment as needed to support patient care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in Labor and Delivery nursing.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse License required.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • At least six months of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience in the last 18 months.
