About This Role:
As a Registered Nurse at Lafene Health Center, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to K-State students. Your primary responsibility will be to assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs through interviewing, recognizing and interpreting symptoms and conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patient needs.
- Provide education to patients and their families on self-care techniques and preventive strategies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements:
- Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse (RN) in the State of Kansas.
- Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
- 2-3 years experience in performing health assessments and executing organizational policy, goals, or objectives.
