Kitchen Sanitation Specialist

**Job Summary:**

Estimated Salary: $35,000 - $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Job Description: Clean and properly stock all dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and glassware. Maintain the cleanliness of the entire kitchen, including dry storage and walk-in coolers.

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, etc., in the dish machine or by hand.
• Assist in stocking and rotating incoming products.
• Support basic food preparation as assigned by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager.
• Empty kitchen trash receptacles and dispose of garbage properly.
• Store all dishes and other wares in designated areas.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dry storage, walk-in shelving, steam tables, hoods, and exhaust systems.
• Maintain sanitation standards in assigned areas.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Notify the chef or supervisor of any equipment breakdown.
• Promote safe work practices throughout job performance.
• Regularly attend work and perform duties as required.

Physical Demands: Frequently stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms. Regularly talk or hear. Occasionally sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste, or smell. Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and regularly lift up to 50 pounds.

Requirements: No prior experience or training is necessary. However, applicable sanitation training is preferred.
