Job Summary

This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dining hall kitchen. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards.
  • Stock and rotate inventory, ensuring that all necessary items are available for service.
  • Assist with food preparation as assigned by the Chef or Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Empty trash receptacles and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Store all dishes and other wares in designated areas.
  • Maintain sanitation standards throughout the kitchen.
  • Sweep and mop floors regularly.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
Physical Demands:

This role requires frequent standing, walking, using hands, and reaching. Regularly talks or hears. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, tastes, or smells. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and regularly lifts up to 50 pounds.

Requirements:
  • No prior experience or training required.
Environment/Noise:

Frequently works in extreme heat, areas with moving mechanical parts, and with toxic or caustic chemicals. Occasionally works in extreme cold. Moderate noise level.

Estimated Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
