Position Information:
The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist operates radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality images of designated body parts under the direct order of a physician and in accordance with radiation safety procedures. This role requires skills in multiple areas of the hospital, including pediatrics, operating room, portables, fluoroscopy, emergency department, and outpatient procedures. The position includes a call-back rotation at multiple sites and reports to the Supervising Radiology Technologist.
Experience Requirements:
No experience required, but 1 year of clinical experience in radiology is preferred.
Education Required:
Graduate of a radiologic technology program.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Technologist for Radiography and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification.
Hours of Work:
Variable.
Weekend Requirements:
As needed.
Call Requirements:
Yes.
