Job Summary

AmeriMed is seeking a highly skilled EMT or Paramedic to join our team. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls, providing medical attention to patients, and ensuring safe and timely transportation to the appropriate destination.

Responsibilities
  • Comply with all corporate policies and procedures.
  • Maintain EMT-B, I, or AEMT or Paramedic certification as required by the State and/or NREMT.
  • Maintain a current CPR card.
  • Maintain current valid Driver's License (must pass MVR).
  • Appropriately respond to calls when dispatched.
  • Render appropriate medical care, within the scope of practice of an EMT- B, I, or AEMT or Paramedic, under the guidance of established medical protocols and standing order.
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and with external customers.
Requirements
  • Must hold a valid State and/or NREMT License at an EMT- B, I, or AEMT or Paramedic level.
  • Current CPR card.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and have a safe driving record.
Working Conditions

The EMT or Paramedic will work in a fast-paced environment, responding to emergency and non-emergency calls. The position requires the ability to work well under pressure, think critically, and make quick decisions in high-stress situations.
