As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for responding to emergencies, addressing patient and family concerns, staffing, and supporting the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with physicians and other members of the healthcare team in the delivery of patient care
  • Support the overall hospital clinically and administratively
  • Develop and implement effective nursing policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut
  • BLS certification prior to hire
  • ACLS, FCCS, and CPI/NCI certifications within one year of hire
  • Progressive nursing experience in a variety of settings, including critical care
  • Previous experience in nursing supervision preferred
