Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our OB GYN team at Westover Hills Baptist Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care for patients assigned to your unit, matching their needs with your competencies.
  • Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
  • Active healthcare provider Basic Life Support certification.
  • AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire.
  • AHA NRP certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Fetal Monitoring - L&D and Antepartum: Novice RNs must complete GNOSIS introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring within 30 days of hire.
  • AWHONN Intermediate Heart Monitoring within 8 months of L&D Orientation.
  • AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Two years of experience in acute care.
