Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our OB/GYN team at Westover Hills Baptist Hospital. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care for a group of patients assigned to the nurse based on matching the patients' needs with the nurse's competencies.
- Complete established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Minimum of 0 years of experience in acute care (none required).
- Preferred experience: 2 years in acute care with previous clinical nursing experience.
- Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification (must be active on hire and completed within 60 days of hire).
- AHA ACLS certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role).
- AHA NRP certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role).
- Fetal Monitoring - L&D and Antepartum: Novice RNs must complete GNOSIS introduction to Fetal Heart Monitoring within 30 days from hire date or transfer date into unit and AWHONN Intermediate Heart Monitoring within 8 months of L&D Orientation.
- Monitoring with 8 months of L&D Orientation.
- S.T.A.B.L.E. – Level 2 Nursery: Must provide proof of prior completion or obtain within 6 months of hire or transfer date into unit.
- AHA PALS certification (must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into role).
