We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Security Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement secure systems and networks to protect against cyber threats
- Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential security vulnerabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the development lifecycle
- Develop and maintain security documentation and artifacts to support compliance and regulatory requirements
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our systems and networks remain secure
- Active Secret Clearance or higher
- Security+ or CISSP Certification
- Experience with Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, and NIST SP Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Ability to travel as required
- Minimum of current Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Program Accesses
- B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Security, or Information Technology
- Experience analyzing, decomposing, and allocating security controls into executable security requirements at the system, sub-system and component level
- Experience with Technical Security requirements across multiple domains (Operating Systems, Networks, High Performance Computing)
- Experience executing Security Hardening on diverse LINUX and Windows Operating Systems based on approved DISA STIGs and SRGs
- Extensive experience developing and maintaining core security documentation artifacts for A&A Packages including Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), System Security Plan (SSP) and/or Information Assurance Standard Operating Procedures (IA SOP), Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and Risk Assessment Report (RAR)
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
