About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Security Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement secure systems and networks to protect against cyber threats
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential security vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the development lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain security documentation and artifacts to support compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to ensure our systems and networks remain secure
Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance or higher
  • Security+ or CISSP Certification
  • Experience with Joint Special Access Program (SAP) Implementation Guide (JSIG), Committee on National Security Systems Instruction (CNSSI) 1253, and NIST SP Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • Ability to travel as required
Desired Skills
  • Minimum of current Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Program Accesses
  • B.S. degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Security, or Information Technology
  • Experience analyzing, decomposing, and allocating security controls into executable security requirements at the system, sub-system and component level
  • Experience with Technical Security requirements across multiple domains (Operating Systems, Networks, High Performance Computing)
  • Experience executing Security Hardening on diverse LINUX and Windows Operating Systems based on approved DISA STIGs and SRGs
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining core security documentation artifacts for A&A Packages including Security Control Traceability Matrix (SCTM), System Security Plan (SSP) and/or Information Assurance Standard Operating Procedures (IA SOP), Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&M), and Risk Assessment Report (RAR)
