Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at UVM Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center. As a Medical Assistant II, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our ambulatory clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for provider visits by performing basic clinical duties, such as taking vital signs and collecting medical information.
  • Work collaboratively with the practice team to maintain confidentiality of patient records and adhere to policies and procedures.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a medical assistance training program or comparable experience.
  • 1-2 years of medical assistant experience required.

External candidates who have not worked within the network in the past year are eligible for a hiring bonus of $5,000 when hired into a full-time position (prorated for part-time) with a 2-year commitment.
