Description:

The Dobbs Truck Group is a growth-oriented company that expands its operations and customer base through a high-quality team of employees. As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, managing inventory, and supervising shipping and receiving personnel.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the receiving, storing, and processing of returnable items (cores) and employees filling orders.
  • Supervise warehouse workers and drivers' duties and responsibilities.
  • Receive parts into the DSI business system and warehouse parts to assigned bin and rack locations.
  • Operate pallet and lift equipment.
  • Adhere to inventory control procedures and conduct daily and weekly cycle counts.
  • Control inbound and outbound freight billing.
  • Secure the warehouse from unauthorized personnel.
  • Process core and return parts to ensure full credit and recovery.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is maintained in safe operating condition.
  • Monitor environmental compliance (MSDS) and advise the Parts Manager of potential storage risks.
  • May occasionally deliver or pick up parts off-site using a company vehicle.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with customers.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age.
  • High school graduate or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead other employees.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a qualified MVR abstract.
  • Proficiency with computer applications.
