Engineering Lecturer Position

Sonoma State University is seeking a qualified candidate for a part-time lecturer position in the Department of Engineering. The successful applicant will teach lower and upper division engineering general education and major courses, including ES 301 - Disruptive technologies that changed the world.
About the DepartmentThe Department of Engineering values experiential education, innovation, and research, and collaborations with local and regional industries. Our faculty team has decades of academic and industry experience, and our engineering laboratories are equipped with cutting-edge technology and supported by endowments and grants.
Responsibilities- Teach lower and upper division engineering general education and major courses.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or closely related fields.
- Experience in teaching and curriculum development.
