Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety review and design.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement fire alarm and fire suppression systems to ensure the safety of people and property.
  • Review and develop life safety plans to meet building codes and regulations.
  • Provide life safety and building code consulting services to clients.
  • Collaborate with engineering and architectural disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Interface with local authorities and building owners to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Develop site fire protection features and fire department access plans.
  • Conduct analysis of smoke movement, means of egress, and fire hazards.
  • Communicate with clients and write technical reports to ensure clear understanding of project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Professional license in a relevant field.
  • Experience in fire suppression, fire alarm, and life safety review and design.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCad, and fire protection related computational programs.
  • Knowledge of adopted building codes and governmental standards.
  • Experience working with NFPA codes and standards.
  • Proven track record of communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Capability to travel as required.
