Responsibilities- Teach introductory and advanced courses in Criminal Justice and Criminology, including Cyberlaw and Cybersecurity, Corrections and Penology, and Criminology.
- Advise and support students from diverse backgrounds, providing guidance on academic and career goals.
- Engage in scholarly activities, such as publishing articles and presenting at conferences, to contribute to the field of Criminal Justice and Criminology.
- Participate in departmental and university service, including committee work and community outreach.
Minimum qualifications include a Master's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field, with four years of teaching experience. Preferred qualifications include a Doctorate in Criminal Justice or a related field, with experience in Cybersecurity, Corrections, or Criminology.
What We OfferMetropolitan State University of Denver offers a competitive salary range of $52,000 - $58,000, as well as excellent benefits, including medical, dental, and retirement plans, and a free RTD pass.
