Practice Manager

Job Summary
This role is responsible for managing the overall growth of the branch or financial advisor's practice. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and skills to provide guidance to associates, resolve complex issues, and manage projects. They will direct the practice's day-to-day operational functions, ensuring compliance with firm and regulatory policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to monitor and control expenses, facilitate revenue growth, and improve productivity.
- Lead the delivery of the client experience by managing administrative procedures and directing client requests.
- Work with home office personnel to coordinate branch-home office workflow and research complex problems related to client accounts and inquiries.
- Assist with training financial advisors on the latest platform and product enhancements, including new software, websites, and other tools and resources.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external business partners, source and develop new financial advisor affiliations, and establish relationships with prospective advisors.
- Prepare payout analyses, generate proposals for prospects, and oversee the transition process for internal transfers or new affiliates.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of team and branch market strategy, comprehensive understanding of company policies and procedures, and investment concepts, practices, and procedures used in the securities industry.
- Effective questioning and listening techniques, organizational and time management skills, and ability to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to use oral and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and external clients, provide a high level of customer service, and project a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of three years of experience in the financial services industry, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training as approved by Human Resources.
Licenses/Certifications
- SIE required, Series 7 required, Series 63, 65, and/or 66 as required by state, and ability to obtain additional securities and advisory state registrations if required by state.
