Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department or critical care setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and quality improvement principles.
