We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room RN to join our team at Kaiser Permanente in Baldwin Park, California. As a leader in the healthcare team, you will provide professional nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating outcomes.
- Ensure patient safety by utilizing the five rights, preventing falls, and preventing nosocomial infections.
- Provide optimal pain control and patient comfort, identifying and discussing patient anxieties, fears, or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in problem identification and resolution, prioritizing tasks and delegating responsibilities as needed.
- Current CA RN license
- BLS certification
- 6 months recent experience in ED or Critical Care, or successful completion of a KP ED training program
- Current ACLS and PALS card required
