Position Overview:

We are in search of a talented and experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to enhance our manufacturing operations.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and upkeep of sophisticated automation and control systems.

This position is well-suited for candidates with a robust background in preventive and predictive maintenance, robotics, Allen Bradley, and RSLogix5000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automation and control systems to improve manufacturing efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on robotic systems and automated machinery to ensure peak performance and reliability.
  • Utilize Allen Bradley and RSLogix5000 for programming and troubleshooting PLC systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and devise solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, and operation manuals.
  • Provide training and guidance to technical staff on the operation and maintenance of automation systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in automation technology and integrate beneficial innovations into operations.
  • Ensure compliance of all automation and control systems with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in automation and controls engineering within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficient in Allen Bradley and RSLogix5000 for PLC programming and troubleshooting.
  • Extensive experience in preventive and predictive maintenance of robotic systems and automated equipment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
