Role Overview: Retirement Relationship Manager

The Retirement Relationship Manager serves as a key liaison for a designated portfolio of retirement plans, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client services. Collaborating with the lead advisor, this position addresses complex operational and compliance challenges. A comprehensive understanding of plan design, customer service, and internal reporting is essential. The Relationship Manager oversees quarterly reporting for all retirement clients, manages meeting documentation, and drives ongoing client initiatives. This role involves daily communication with both internal and external stakeholders to maintain, enhance, and establish strong client relationships; coordinating plan management with service providers; participating in client meetings and calls; and proactively resolving plan-related issues within established timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate daily communications with clients, organizing conference calls and meetings for consultation and issue resolution.
  • Centralize the generation of quarterly reports.
  • Coordinate and manage data entry across various reporting platforms and spreadsheets.
  • Complete routine monthly and quarterly deliverables for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction.
  • Proactively assist in optimizing services, implementing new applications and software, product enhancements, and the new Fiduciary Vault.
  • Coordinate the production of custom or specialized reports as needed.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members.
  • Execute additional assigned tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • FINRA Series 6 & 63, along with applicable state licenses, must be obtained within a specified timeframe.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the financial services sector is essential.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the industry is crucial.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in investment products is required.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills are necessary.
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook are expected.
  • Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Face-to-face experience, preferably in a field structure setting, is required.
  • A collaborative team player who is adaptable in a growing organization.
