Job Summary:

We are seeking Learn to Skate Instructors and Jr. Coaches to join our team at Centene Community Ice Center. We follow the LTSUSA curriculum and are rapidly growing.

This role will pay an hourly rate between $20 to $25.

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

• Teach Tot through advanced level classes following LTS-USA curriculum

• Encourage students to practice the skills they are learning outside of class

• May have to lift small children who can't stand up on their own

• Actively recruit and promote our program and specialty classes to potential new skaters

• Have a welcoming and encouraging attitude with the skaters and parents

• Work with other coaches and coordinator to better our classes and programs

• Potentially assist with off-ice education and tying skates

• Accurately and thoroughly evaluate students and the end of the session - completing report cards and certificates

• Attend coaches meetings and/or trainings

• Enforce on and off-ice rules

Requirements:

• Have or obtain a Learn to Skate USA professional membership

• Have or obtain a Safesport Certification

• 5+ years of figure skating experience, ISI Freestyle 4, or USFS Juvenile Free Skate

• Previous coaching experience is a plus, but not required

• Positive attitude with willingness to learn

• Great at working in a team environment

• ISI membership and synchro experience are a plus, but not required
