We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Asphalt Specialist to join our team at Rose Paving LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our asphalt equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn and damaged parts, and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good working condition.
- Repair and Overhaul: Remove, repair, adjust, overhaul, assemble, disassemble, and replace major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems as needed to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Supply Management and Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
- DOT Compliance and Safety: Ensure all equipment is in compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintain a safe working environment.
- Class A CDL License: A valid Class A CDL license is preferred but not required.
- Technical Skills: Skilled in supply management, inventory control, use of mechanical inspection tools, and technical understanding of asphalt equipment.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong verbal and listening skills, with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with operations team members.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and completion in preparing and entering information.
