STEM Department Focus

The STEM Department is dedicated to providing a rich curriculum that promotes curiosity and critical thinking. Our Middle School Math Curriculum includes:

  • Mathematics for Grade 6
  • Mathematics for Grade 7
  • Pre-Algebra (honors)
  • Algebra 1 (honors)
  • Geometry (honors)

Additionally, our Engineering Curriculum encompasses:

We are looking for an educator who can effectively teach both mathematics and robotics.

Key Responsibilities

This full-time role will involve:

  • Teaching five periods daily from Monday to Thursday.
  • Participating in advisory, media literacy, research, service learning, or mentorship activities on Fridays.
  • Conducting tutorial sessions twice a week.
  • Engaging in ongoing professional development throughout the academic year.
  • Leading onboarding and leadership initiatives with students at the start of the school year.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A minimum of five years of teaching experience at the middle or upper school level.
  • A strong foundation in pedagogical practices.
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant field; advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Experience with gifted and talented students is advantageous.
