Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Provide visionary leadership and guidance to the Emergency Department team to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
- Clinical Expertise
- Utilize advanced clinical knowledge and expertise to provide guidance and support to staff in the delivery of patient care.
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department, including staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Develop and implement effective processes to improve patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance the overall patient experience.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to keep staff informed and engaged.
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
- Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of success in improving patient satisfaction, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
- Certifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification required.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Additional related education and/or experience
