Lead Barista, Guest Service Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process coffee, beverage, and food requests, enter orders into the POS system, handle payments, and prepare items.
  • Maintain cleanliness of coffee service areas and dining tables.
  • Execute opening and closing tasks, including setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and ensuring all areas are tidy.
  • Manage the operation of appliances, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
  • Restock and organize workspaces to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handle cash transactions, complete necessary reports, and secure funds at the end of shifts.
  • Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food and beverage service.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols; report any incidents or unsafe conditions to management.
  • Implement sustainability practices in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Follow safe working procedures and utilize protective equipment as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Previous barista experience is advantageous.

Work Environment

  • Work hours may vary, including weekends and holidays.
  • Position requires prolonged standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
