Responsibilities:- Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
- Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
- Monitor patients during CT scans and ensure their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and test results
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
- RT (R), (CT), (ARRT), and BLS certifications
- Ability to function as a CT Technologist in performing examinations of patients of all ages
- Demonstrates competency in PACS process and performs daily QA process
- Effective communication skills and excellent patient care skills required
- Functions proficiently with all technical equipment in diagnostic modality
- Properly uses radiation protection and shielding material to ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines
- Must be up to date on all vaccinations as required for hospital employment and pass any needed health screenings, including drug screening and background check
