Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at American Family Care, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians in diagnosing injuries and diseases. Your responsibilities will include performing radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures, as well as assisting with administrative and clinical needs as appropriate.

- Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner
- Process X-Rays, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for reading by a physician
- Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with approved radiology technique
- Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments in accordance with approved standards, policies, procedures, and protocols
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment, arranging for repairs as needed
- Complete forms and maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one-year related experience or training
- X-ray license and certificate
- ARRT-registered or board-eligible preferred
