Dispute Resolution Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Dispute Resolution Specialist to join our team at Educational Federal Credit Union. As a financial institution, we have been dedicated to providing quality financial services to our members since 1935.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing and investigating cardholder claims in compliance with applicable rules and regulations. This includes interacting with cardholders via phone, gathering pertinent information, and maintaining a working knowledge of all rules and regulations governing card disputes.

• Process disputes within regulatory timeframes and provide provisional credit as needed.
• Investigate claims in accordance with documented procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Work closely with the Dispute Resolution Supervisor to identify trends and improve dispute resolution processes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Two years of prior financial services and plastic card experience.
• Superior customer service and escalation resolution skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
