Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at the District Service Center in Groveport Madison. This role will provide essential support services to students, promoting their physical and mental well-being.

About the Role

This position involves working closely with students, educators, and other professionals to create personalized plans that cater to each student's unique needs. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in enhancing students' independence, academic performance, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement occupational therapy plans for students with varying abilities and needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of therapy sessions into the educational setting
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify areas of strength and weakness in students' fine motor skills, visual-perceptual abilities, and daily living activities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
Requirements
  • Possession of a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Ohio
  • Proven experience working with students with diverse abilities and backgrounds
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and colleagues
