MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Penn State Health Holy Spirit Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Imaging scanners to produce high-quality images of patients. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Administer gadolinium contrast dosage intravenously as needed
- Interview patients to explain MRI procedures and position them on the examining table
- Enter patient data into the computer system, including patient history, anatomical area to be scanned, and orientation specified
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT)
- Registered or registry eligible in MRI
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
