Position Overview:

We are looking for an entry-level technician specializing in electronic security installations to become a vital part of our expanding and innovative team.

Key Responsibilities:

This role encompasses various responsibilities, including:

  • Overseeing projects in the field
  • Programming systems
  • Activating and commissioning projects
  • Installing field devices
  • Providing service for advanced integrated security systems (including access control, video management, and gunshot detection).

Note: Some overnight travel may be necessary.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in installation and maintenance or a technical/electrical background, including:
    • Enterprise-level access control systems
    • Enterprise-level video management systems
    • Gunshot detection systems on utility and lighting poles
  • Knowledge of networking and IT principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • The capability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ability to operate a company vehicle safely, including bucket trucks, while following all traffic regulations.
  • Familiarity with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
  • Understanding of safety practices in a chemical plant environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An associate's degree in electrical or IT fields or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with computer operating systems, network design, and implementation.
