We are a national dispatch company based in Alabama seeking a reliable and self-motivated lead tech individual to handle a variety of low voltage installs, rollouts, cable pulls, and trouble tickets in the Birmingham and surrounding areas on a 1099 basis. The W2 option is available after 90 days for those interested.

Job Details:
  • Low voltage, access control, CCTV, networking, telephone, circuit turn-ups, activations, rack and stack, small tasks to large projects.
  • This is a full-time position.
  • $30-$35 depending on experience and reference checks.
  • We are looking to hire experienced lead techs for telephone, datacom, fiber, access control, audio-video, security, and fire, and all low voltage.
  • Pay weekly.
  • Travel pay included.
Requirements:
  • Must have your own transportation.
  • Must have a smartphone.
  • Must have a laptop and basic datacom hand tools to get started.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively lead others.
  • Extensive experience with multiple Analog and VOIP types.
  • Skilled and experienced with cat5e, POS systems, access points, VOIP, network racks, CCTV, paging, audio/video, etc.
  • Verifiable professional references.
Responsibilities:
  • Completing work orders performing trouble tickets, rollouts, and installations, cable pulls, POS system installs, phone system installs, and a variety of technically oriented duties.
  • Occasionally may be asked to pull permits if required.
  • Will be asked to travel up to 60 miles one way with travel pay included.
