About the Role

This position is responsible for working as a member of the critical care float pool, which provides nursing support to various units within the hospital. You'll have the opportunity to work in multiple areas, including CICU, PICU, and NICU, gaining valuable experience and developing your skills as a pediatric critical care nurse. Your duties will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team, as well as supervising and delegating tasks to other staff members when necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing, as well as prior experience in a pediatric-related healthcare setting or a specific area of nursing. You should also possess a current Washington State RN License and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additional certifications, such as PALS or PEARS, may be required depending on the unit you're assigned to work in. Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
