Position Summary: We are in search of a seasoned Project Executive with a minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically for our South Florida operations. The Project Executive will hold ultimate responsibility for business growth, contract negotiations, insurance obligations, risk assessment, policy formulation, and providing executive oversight throughout all project phases, from preconstruction to final closeout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive leadership and strategic direction for construction projects.
  • Engage in executive oversight primarily within core markets, including educational facilities (K-12 and higher education), municipal projects, and multifamily housing.
  • Expand and manage relationships with both existing and prospective clients in the private sector.
  • Contribute to the senior leadership team and participate in monthly management discussions to shape company policies.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams, executives, and directors to guide project planning, including staffing and material requirements.
  • Oversee project teams that may consist of up to nine members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 15 years of experience in a project management or executive capacity.
  • Proven track record of leading successful project teams and developing direct reports while maintaining strong external relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving and motivating team members while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Thorough understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (such as Prolong or CMiC), accounting software (like CMiC), and scheduling tools (such as Primavera).
  • Experience in multifamily and hospitality sectors is preferred to align with the company's strategic initiatives.

Compensation: Salary up to $220K, contingent upon the ability to bring business opportunities.
