Huntsville Hospital Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the region, offering a wide range of services and specialties. Our hospital has 971 beds and features a specialized Orthopedic & Spine Tower, as well as a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to lead our multidisciplinary team. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will provide comprehensive direct patient care in collaboration with attending physicians, including obtaining patient histories, ordering diagnostic testing, interpreting results, and participating in procedural assistance.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Advanced Practice Provider team
  • Collaborate with attending physicians for disposition planning, including discharge and specialty consultation
  • Participate in health maintenance and promotion, including patient and family education
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the Advanced Practice Provider team
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
  • Current registration with the Alabama Board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners
  • Approval of the Huntsville Hospital credentialing board
  • BLS certification
