Job Summary

We are seeking a Health and Leadership Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that our campus meets high standards of organizational and academic excellence with a strong focus on driving student achievement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement written lesson plans that fulfill curriculum and program requirements, including differentiation, scaffolds, and formative and summative assessments.
  • Provide instruction and learning experiences to students designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
  • Plan and use instructional strategies, learning activities, instructional materials, equipment, and technologies to build students' content knowledge and skills.
  • Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula as needed for special education students.
  • Use a variety of ongoing formative and summative assessment measures to determine mastery of grade-level, content-area standards.
  • Maintain accurate and efficient record-keeping of official attendance records, grade reports, student files, and other documents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the subject and level assigned.
  • English as a Second Language certification preferred.
  • Ability to lead, influence, and hold others accountable to high standards of academic and artistic excellence.
  • Strong learning orientation and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
