Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Discovery Point. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in planning engaging lessons and activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth and development in our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and implementing curriculum-aligned activities that foster a love of learning in our children.
  • Support the lead teacher in maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment that encourages exploration and discovery.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education and curriculum.
  • Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations.
  • Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other required training.
  • Meet state background check requirements.
