Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team at Discovery Point. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for children to grow and learn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement weekly curricula that align with approved educational standards
  • Provide guidance and support to other staff members in the classroom
  • Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment, adhering to all state and regulatory requirements
  • Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and management to ensure a positive and collaborative atmosphere
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, prioritizing the well-being and safety of children
Requirements
  • Meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and curriculum design
  • Ability to obtain training in CPR/Fire Safety and other required certifications
  • Hold a CDA/degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Pass a state background check
