Position: NDT Technician

We are seeking skilled NDT Technicians, ideally with a background in Aerospace or Physical Laboratory environments. The following qualifications are essential:

  • Comprehensive understanding of the scope and limitations of the NDT methods in which you are certified, with a commitment to maintaining current competency.
  • Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and contractual documents governing the methods employed by the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Skillful in gathering and analyzing information.
  • Competence in editing and presenting numerical data effectively.
  • Capability to set up and calibrate nondestructive testing apparatus.
  • Conducting tests to ensure quality and detect defects using various NDT inspection methods.
  • Establishing techniques for the thorough examination of inspected objects while adhering strictly to safety regulations.
  • Interpreting radiographs, CRTs, digital readouts, conductivity meters, and visual indicators.
  • Organizing and reporting test outcomes.
  • Performing specialized inspections as required.
  • Willingness to mentor and provide on-the-job training for NDT certification of other inspectors.
  • Carrying out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Qualifications
  • Preferred certifications: Eddy Current or Radiologic.
  • Minimum of 2 years of NDT experience, including RT, UT, UTSW, UTPA, MT, or PT.
  • Experience in Aerospace and/or Physical Laboratory settings is preferred.
  • NDT Level II Certification is required.
  • NAS 410 Certification is mandatory.
  • Technical expertise in NDT methods, procedures, and standards.
  • Proven ability to effectively execute assigned NDT tasks and interpret inspection results.
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment is essential.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Must be willing to undergo drug and alcohol screenings and background checks.
