Heavy Equipment Mechanic Opportunity at Pape' Machinery, Inc.

Pape' Machinery, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join their team in Tangent, OR. As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing construction and forestry equipment in the shop, ensuring accurate and timely repairs to support our customers and maximize their uptime.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, including construction and forestry equipment
  • Work in a fast-paced shop environment, with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other technicians to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest equipment and technologies

Requirements:
  • 5 or more years of experience in diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driver's license with a good driving record (preferred)
  • Must provide own tools
