Position Overview

The Clinical Assessment Specialist will conduct initial screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and manage all necessary documentation for clients entering services. The individual will collaborate closely with various departments, playing a vital role within the multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments that articulate the necessity for services using the agency's established framework.
  • Collaborate effectively with agency personnel to ensure assessments are finalized promptly in accordance with program standards.
  • Maintain clear communication with all agency staff to guarantee continuity of care concerning treatment objectives and interventions.
  • Perform additional tasks as required by the role or as directed by the immediate supervisor, Director of Integrated Outpatient Services, or the Chief Executive Officer.

Qualifications
  • Education: A minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related health discipline. Candidates must possess provisional or full licensure.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to provide accurate diagnoses and assessments to inform treatment plans.
  • Experience: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) status as defined by state regulations.

Work Environment

The role is primarily conducted in office settings, where tasks such as answering phones and utilizing computers and other technologies are expected.

Physical Requirements
