Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing direct care to residents, including administering medications, assisting with activities of daily living, and supervising non-licensed nursing staff. You will also be responsible for participating in the evaluation of non-licensed staff and ensuring a safe and secure working environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Supervise non-licensed nursing staff and provide guidance and support as needed
- Participate in the evaluation of non-licensed staff and provide feedback and recommendations
- Ensure a safe and secure working environment by following established policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care
- Valid Florida nursing license
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to two years related experience and/or training
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
